Opposite Cafe VQ
This Time it the turn of Opposite Cafe to get the Custom One Nine Treatment.
Ethical Opposite Cafe from the heart of Leeds has grown up, having just one won awards at the UK's barista competitions, they've just opened a new shop in the Victoria Quarter (VQ)
This exquisite coffee shop was lovingly restored to its current condition by the Custom One Nine team, with original designs once again from the product designer Piers Tucker. This truly magnificent cafe is made from solid light oak and antique teak. Each piece was custom designed and built by Custom One Nine's design and manufacturing team.
Purpose built Barista coffee shop Opposite Cafe in The Victoria Quarter.
The North's premiere fashion and lifestyle destination is Housed in elegant Grade 11* listed buildings and home to the worlds leading fashion and lifestyle brands such as Paul Smith, Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Westwood, Agent Provocateur, All Saints and of course Harvey Nichols, the Victoria Quarter is justifiably renowned as The Knightsbridge of the North.
Twice winning the northern heats of the UK Barista Championships Opposite Cafe VQ has just been awarded the Best Coffee Shop in the UK by the Guardian.
With all the latest equipment from around the world you'll struggle to find a better mad cafe in England.

Paper Scissor Stone...Explicit Lyrics first visited the store when they begin renovating the unit, turning it from and industrial unit to a funky new concept store, aimed at artist, designers and clothes lovers.
With art and design from some of the UK's best new artists and resident illustrator Si Scott & clothing label Electronic Poet there set to make big splash in 2010.
Steve Banks. Founder of Menswear label Electronic Poet which is sold throughout the UK including in all three Selfridges and online at Oki-Ni.com, the brand is going from strength to strength and is building a strong fanbase which includes the biggest DJ's in the World to TV celebrities.
Si Scott. One of the most in demand graphic designer / illustrators in the World, his clients include Nike, MTV, Guinness, Tiffany, Volvo and Orange amongst the many. He also gives talks all around the World, only last week he was at the prestigious OFFF Festival in Lisbon, Portugal.
Jules Balchin. Completes the trio, bridging the art and fashion worlds together, to head up the store at Paper Scissor Stone. Having worked in the commercial art scene in London selling artwork from the likes of Damien Hirst , Anthony Micallef and Vic Reeves, she uses her knowledge of the art world and fine art publishing to curate and publish our exhibitions with Si Scott. Working alongside Mel Bainbridge she is also responsible for there Womens wear offerings.
